Vietnam has participated in the Japan Association of Travel Agents World Trade Fair 2011 (JATA World Travel Fair 2011), which opened in Tokyo on September 30.

Contrary to the predictions by the General Statistics Office (GSO), foreign-made vehicles are still being imported into Vietnam in larger and larger quantities.

Foreign investors registered 10.45 billion USD in investment capital in Vietnam in the past eight months, according to the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

The consumer price index (CPI) in August rose by 0.24 percent against July and 1.97 percent when compared to the same period last year, reported the General Statistics Office (GSO).
