Vietnamese officials and businesspeople will attend the FOODEX JAPAN - International Food and Beverage Exhibition to be held from March 5-10, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The particpants are expected to discuss policies to attract investment into Việt Nam’s agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors along with seeking potential foreign investors.
One of the Vietnamese participants’ main activities in Japan is to meet with Japanese trade associations and businesses which are interested in the field of agro-forestry-aquaculture in Việt Nam.
Last year, the Vietnamese delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Hồ Xuân Hùng, attended the 36th Foodex Japan, in March 1, 2011.
The last year’s event was home to more than 3,000 stalls of businesses from 60 countries and territories.
